I have owned this plant for many years and it was not until last year before I finally had it ID'ed, with help of my internet friends.
It is like a miniature Max. picta. The plant stands only 6" tall. It is in a 4" pot for perspective.

That is lovely and the flowers look very similar to my porphyrostele except the white lip, your flowers arent opening all the way either so maybe mine wont. very pretty little species. Thanks for the photos.
