Rhyncostylis retusa???

This is a discussion on Rhyncostylis retusa??? within the Orchids of Other Genera IN BLOOM forums, part of the Orchid Photography category; got this one a few weeks back as well.... glad that the spike didn't abort. ...

    Default Rhyncostylis retusa???

    got this one a few weeks back as well.... glad that the spike didn't abort.
    Anyways I think this is Rhyncostylis retusa, but I hope someone can confirm
    it as I am not really sure.

    Randy, it is Rhynchostylis retusa, but more precisely, it is Rhynchostylis praemorsa, which it is just a synonym of R. retusa

    I believe its supposed to be fragrant, but I cant seem detect any.
