Call it lovely, that should cover it.
I looked that one up in Orchidwiz. Green Hornet is also a Prosthechea - I can spell it when I have it on the screen in front of me, in another window ! It is a cross between a well-known cockle-shell orchid species , which when the world was young was called Epidendrum cochleata, and a second species which I have never met - E ( now P ) trulla .

I like the abbreviation for Prosthechea - it's Psh . makes me want to say ," and Psh to you too ..." ( to the botanists )

Thanks Geoff. Somewhere I read that tulla was a synonym for cochleata--Iospe photos maybe. Another place said the tulla was previously Enc. lancifolia but got a name change and "tulla" was the next available name. So perhaps you have met her when she was using a pseudonym. . .

The story for Green Hornet as far as I understand it... Originally registered as cochleata x lancifolia. Sometime later lancifolia was reduced to a synonym for cochleata based on the type specimen, but it turned out that plants labeled as lancifolia were really trulla, which is a valid species, and apparently includes the actual parent plant of the grex registered as Green Hornet. The registration was changed to cochleata x trulla.

As for Prosthechea, this is the genus preferred by Kew and RHS, but other taxonomists may still prefer to put these species in Anachelium, where they would be cochleatum and trullum. Anatomical differences exclude them from Encyclia.

Very nice radiata BTW. A favorite species no matter what the tag says.
