    Default Trichoglottis philippinensis, dark form

    Here's a dark-flowered form of Trichoglottis philippinensis, the colouration of which approaches that of T. atropurpurea. These flowers last up to two weeks and are spicily fragrant.

    Hi Wally now I can see the real T. Philippinensis I love the color very beautiful thanks for sharing with us.Is it free flowering? What are the frequency of flowering in a year?

    Hi Zainal, this plant is quite free-flowering, and blooms just seem to appear when I least expect them. I have another clone, with spotted segments, which grows faster but flowers less often, and seem to have a definite flowering period (February to March).
