Here's a dark-flowered form of Trichoglottis philippinensis, the colouration of which approaches that of T. atropurpurea. These flowers last up to two weeks and are spicily fragrant.

Hi Zainal, this plant is quite free-flowering, and blooms just seem to appear when I least expect them. I have another clone, with spotted segments, which grows faster but flowers less often, and seem to have a definite flowering period (February to March).
