    Thanks Sheryl.
I never thought this plant would survive or at least not bloom again. But I have had it for five years now and it has been blooming every year. Still, when it isn't in bloom it doesn't look too happy.

I have a little story about this species ; (very) many years ago there was a UK orchid nursery run by a guy who was a member of a very famous orchid family . He rather thought that the world owed him a living because of thisI . won't say his name - ( don't speak ill of the dead), He specialised in orchid species, and I was a regular customer, in the days when I was very much a beginner , and I have been growing for almost 60 years now... Knowing my particular interests, heoffered me a plant of this species, which he said was 6 inches. That would be pretty good, I think everyone who knows it will agree. His price was an arm and a leg , as we say over here. When it came it was actually about one inch ( leaf span).
I complained. He roared with laughter - said " I got you there , Geoff- It's on a six inch twig, and you didn't ask what was 6 inch."...
I had my revenge - never bought another plant off him. Who was the clever one, then ?

But right Arne, it is a beauty. Just a pig to grow . Needless to say, my little one inch plant soon went to another place.
