Here are three Paph's in bloom in the greenhouse.
Left is Paph liemianum with one flower and one bud.
Center is Paph henryanum X Paph primulinum it has 2 flowers and one bud.
Right is a NOID, If anyone has an idea of the name I'd appreciate it.
Carl
Very happy looking paphs. I especially like the henryanum. Congrats!
Beautiful.... all of them, but I too like the henryanum the best. It's awesome.
Well, I can't identify the one on the right, but it's sure a gorgeous vini! I've been doing some searches, but can't find any with quite the right shape *and* as dark.
The middle plant--henryanum X primulinum--is Paphiopedilum Tropical Magic, according to OrchidWiz.
I really like all three. I sort of have an opportunity to get a liemianum, and it's getting hard to resist when I look at the one in this photo!
Cheers,
Rob
I think they are all beautiful, how can I choose between them! the colour on the NoID is beautiful and the others well they are stunning also, I cant help with an ID but had to come drool over them, well done on flowering such beauties!
May be the noid one is Maudiae type because of dark red presentation and mottling leaves
WHOA! That is an absolutely fantastic NOID!!! I want one!
The others also make such a lovely display.. well done growing these Carl!
Very well done!![]()
Hi,
Thanx for all the nice comments.
Rob, I appreciate the help. Think I'll just put Maudi Vini on tag--at least I'll know. The liemianum was quite small a few years ago but has grow slowly and steadily. I don't know how many buds/flowers it will produce in this first blooming.
Carl
