At last nights OS meeting, I won this orchid. Can't find much info out about how to care for it. Anyone have it? Sorry its not in bloom
Parents are:
paraphal laycockii x Christenonia vietnamiea
The name should read Laenopsonia Penang Star. But the accepted genus name now is Chrisnopsis. Grow it under Vanda or Cattelya conditions.
According to Orchid Wiz it's a primary cross between Paraphalaenopsis laycockii and Christensonia vietnamica. Both species bloom between Jan and March. The Christensonia grows along rivers in Vietnam. The Paraphalaenopsis is from Borneo but it's habitat in undocumented. The cross grows in warm to hot temperatures. Protect it from cold weather. It likes medium to high light. It likes to stay moist but not wet.
