Dartmouth boasts its own Phragenstein. (Also a Phrag. Sorcerer's Apprentice.) We didn't count the number of past blooms. I think Steve's wins, but who can be a loser when you're this colossal? Note the side branches. Lisa said those developed later than the primary spike...er...telephone pole...maybe, radio tower.
Phrag. Evy Finegan is (Phrag. Grande x Pharg. caricinum). Lisa's justly proud of this beauty.
And who couldn't fall in love with the diminutive cutie, Phrag. schlimii?
Interestingly, she grows all her Phrags. (potted in moss, I believe) set directly in trays of water - except any with caudatum. Those get a more normal, albeit moist, Paph. treatment.

I like the Phrag. schlimii, it's so cute! But the Evy Finegan is quite handsome!
Cheers. Hoa.
I want... hmm... no, I NEED Evy!!!!
Yeah, Lisa was quite proud of her phrags (justly so!)
It's funny Evy didn't carry a name, Diane...the cross has been registered since '97. You'd think someone could figure it out in that time.
