nice brachys! I wonder if they're conco-bellatulum though, all the concolor I've come across have very fine spotting. The top flower is kind of marginal but the spotting looks a bit too large for pure concolor; the bottom one is definitely too large and looks like conco-bellatulum. (which would also explain some variation in the background color if you got these two from the same batch?)
the foliage on the first one looks like concolor but sometimes conco-bellatulum will retain the distinctive markings of pure concolor (that "checkered fish scale pattern"); the foliage on the second one looks like it has some bellatulum in it.
I LOVE it!!! Beautiful blooms and I can see the pink in it too.
Thanks, Jason. It was exactly what I was expecting from you because I was also confused. Here are the leaves....Originally Posted by Jmoney
Top leaf belongs to the one with yellow background.
Please ignore the leaf miner damage, I've got the worm in control. I bought these from the same vendor who sold those micranthums in boxes on the street. There is another bud, we'll see how that one turn out.
Whatever they are, they're lovely, Tanya!

They are very nice, Tanya!
Some of my brachys are setting buds or in buds. Maybe we will see them soon!
Cheers. Hoa.
the bottom leaf is almost definitely not concolor--the vast majority have very distinctive leaf patterning, and the flower settles it. You can never be 100% certain, but my money is on conco-bellatulum.
the top leaf could pass as concolor, but the flower doesn't look like concolor to me. if they came from the same batch, then I think conco-bellatulum is still the likeliest. this entity has intermittently been considered a natural hybrid, a distinct species, and recently I think it has been described as wensham-something, I can't remember.
I asked around and I was told Paph wenshanense. Thanks, Jason.
Tanya,
I believe wenshanense is simply an alias for bellatulum.
