Apologies if I had sounded harsh. Each of our grow areas are different and there are lot of factors that influences the best media for our grow area and what works for one might not work for the other.

Bark holds water pretty good, most of the times longer than moss, just cover the medium with a think layer of fine bark fix. If you don't believe that, you can give that a try. Use moss to grow Paph will most likely kill it. I water this Paph about once 10 days, even longer in winter time due to the geographical location of Calgary.

There is no need to apologize. As you said, each single growing areas is different and each of us is sharing our own experience. Moss may work in your area but for some reason, it doesn't work here. I haven't seen any orchid hobbyist growing Paph in moss except one time I saw there were some selling in a grocery supermarket but after that, never saw that happening. The fine bark mix that I mentioned contains some moss, but I don't really think it helps much. The key is the roots need to be totally buried otherwise, it will be dried to death.
