Hot/Warm growing Phal help
I have been responsible for my share of Phal's deaths in the past.
I had given up on that species.
Last night, a friend of mine gave me a beautiful spiking phal, as a gift (bless him!)
The tag says FasciataxTetraspis. It looks very healthy potted in a 6" pot, in what looks like a peat, perlite, bark homemade mix.
What worries me, besides the fact that I haven't tried my bad luck with a phal in 3 years is that both parents of this hybrid seem to be warm/hot growing species.
My "indoor/windowsill" growing conditions are intermediate to warm at best with a difference between night and day temps, will this be a problem?
Any specific tips on growing that particular family of Phal from someone's own experience? (Or just stick to regular Phals growing guidelines explained in BD's phal growing article.) Thanks!
