I think it is a hybrid.there is a whole series of them named after the different volcanoes in the Islands. Difficult to distinguish unless you are an expert in them, which I’m not.

It's very close to Renanthera storiei especially the lip and this species has reputation carries a lots of flowers with branching inflorescence.
Hi there! My renanthera from this thread is doing wonderfully -I think-
But now at the older part of the stem I started to notice a "green point" which is clearly something growing there. But I was wondering, could it be a flower spike? From what I've read here, blooms appears at a node near the last 3 developed leaves. That's what makes me doubt about what it could be... This is at a very old part of the stem. Here's a picture.
It doesn't seems to be a root because if I see very close I can notice the green tip have like "layers" or something, which reminds me the beginning of a flower spike or a new shoot. Can a new shoot grow from a very old part of the stem?

My guess (nothing more at this point) is that the plant will produce a new growth (keiki) from there. With luck, it will form its own root system, giving you the opportunity to separate it from the “mother” plant.
Your posts are like diaries. For instance this post is a story about a cutting which you first thought was an Epidendrum and then, a year later, proved to be a Renanthera etc. I find this use of the forum very interesting.
Hi there! This is how it's going, it didn't grew too much since then:

But on december I noticed that few nodes up another thing was growing, it's a new shoot:

And this is a picture of the whole plant. It didn't bloom on 2021 but it grew a lot I think.
