First time I came to know that they generate their own oxygen inside the flask.
Just they need brightness and clean environment.

06. Bought plastic pots from a mall. I don’t want fancy expensive pots for my first project. Bought 10 Pcs pack qty 2.
This is used for take away liquid or food in the food courts. They are transparent and bit hard plastic. But there is no drainage hole.
Choose the bigger pot for future growth.

13. Semi-hydroponics for growing orchids uses containers designed with a reservoir which maintains the water level, with a medium consisting of only clay pebbles
Attachment 79477
14. These pebbles have an excellent capillary absorption ability which allows them to draw the water from the reservoir and distribute it evenly to the entire root structure.

21. Coconut husk
At first filled the pot with coconut husk. Fine coconut will not escape from drainage hole. Allows only excess water to drain.

22. Fill all the 20 pots as first layer.

23. Charcoal allows good air circulation for the roots due to its consistency
Helps to maintain the necessary moisture. It also helps in good drainage.
Avoid using barbecue charcoal since it contains chemicals that will kill the baby plant.
