    Default Coelogyne rochusenii

Time for something different. I purchased this in January 2015 and this is the first time it bloomed!! I had decided a few weeks ago that I was going to put this in the trash bin then I saw the spike, after blooming I can not get rid of this one, well worth the wait!

Well look at that! Awesome Jack! It's beautiful! Glad the spike presented itself in time.

Thanks Sheryl, it did save it finally blooming or it would have been in the trash.

So glad you didn't trash it, Jack! WOW, that is a beauty. I love how the blooms have that crystal-like or ice-like surface.

    cheers,
    BD

No, how nice! And how wonderful that you didn't throw them in the trash. I have just a Coelogine christata here for several years. It also been on the garbage a few times in my mind, but now it's a break and it looks good.

I think you should put the clonal name "keeper" on the tag.

Have you seen the pictures of some specimen sized plants of this species? I'm sure you can grow it to specimen size Jack.
