Obviously, this is one of my older plants. It has never bloomed this well before. It has about 8 spikes and these are the first of the flowers opening. I can't wait to see it in full bloom!
Fabulous!
The intense red and the washed-out colour of the lip harmonise wonderfully.
Connie,
I know some will feel I'm too picky about this, but accuracy is important in this field, and there is no hybrid called Booth Lee Venice. There is Booth Lee, with an awarded cultivar 'Venice', so it should be labeled (taxonomists changed the hybrid genus too) as Brassocatanthe (Bct) Booth Lee 'Venice' AM/AOS.
That's the healthiest orchid I've ever seen. Way to go!!!!
