    Default Fertilizing Newly Pot Dendrobium

Hi! I just potted some new dendrobium cuttings. I would like to ask for your advise as to how soon I can spray them with growth booster fertilizer?

Also, can a dendrobium recover if all its leaves were gone because they got sun burnt?

    Thank you!

To me after 3 to 5 days I already sprayed with fertilizer so far so good but based on my observation after 1 or 2 weeks also should be ok. Dendrobium actually is very tough plants though they got sun burnt the pseudobulb still very active even they dropped off their leaves after period of time the young shoot will appear from the base or from the stem protect your plant from secondary infection.Good luck.

I also agree with zainal. But I have another question for you. does your cuttings already have roots or none? how long are the roots? what is your potting medium?

Thank you so much Dr. Zainal! Two of my dendrobiums have lost all their leaves but the pseudobulbs seem okay.

The cuttings have roots and they are about 2-3 inches long. I am not sure with my potting medium though, if I did it right. I mixed coco peat, crushed charcoal, small pieces of tree barks and I crushed some of my broken terracotta pots.
