Hey Guys, this is a Wilsonara Tigersette 'Wild Court', another orchid that finally started blooming for me. No fragrance, but very colorful blooms. This is the second year he's bloomed for me with two spikes. I had some trouble with him at first, but added quite a bit of sphagnum to his mix and he really took off with the extra moisture.
Edit: Got some sunlight for a brief moment today, got a much better picture of the larger spike- shows greater color and detail. :-)

Very nice !
That is indeed very nice!
Thanks.... Although I never got a good picture when it bloomed last December, I ran into this random one from over a year ago while going through pics today. I think this Wilsonara variety is great.
lovely derek and quite big blooms!
Derek, this is a beautiful bloom!! Your photo in the first post is fantastic!
Cheers,

Thanks Bruce, it really is a nice orchid. I'm glad I got a decent photo, one that does a decent job of conveying what the plant is about. Something some of our members here are especially good at. (Taking pictures of orchids has been a learning experience for me, trying to get a very old point and shoot to cooperate is ... *sigh* ... part of the fun. )
I have this one too but it finished blooming a few months ago.
Nice going, Derek. I've had some Wilsonara and killed them all! So it is nice to see what they are supposed to look like.
