try delenatii (rose scent), malipoense (raspberry scent), hangianum, emersonii, kolopakingii

There is a delenatii purfume up for sale actually...made in japan

My instincts tell me that if you are lucky you can get a faint scent from bellatulum or niveum or other brachys possibly. Didn't you say one of your white complexes was fragrant? It does have brachy in it's genes.

Yes, Fren, my Miller's Sunset had a very faint scent so I decided to see where it might have got it from. After an hour of RHS search spitting out hybrid after hybrid (never again, I want a fancy database like Julie's!) I finally managed to get to the species that were used in it and those are the ones that I asked about.

Interesting about bellatulum and niveum, they were the least used but most current species in its breeding.

I knew about delenatii and malipoense. In fact the 3 Paphs that are currently on my wish list are Lynleigh Koopowitz (malipoense x delenatii) Delophyllum (glaucophyllum x delenatii) and Annabellchen (liemianum x delenatii)

...my paph deperle (primulinum x delenatii) in bloom right now is not fragrant and is similar to Delophyllum and Annabellchen other than colour.

    Lynleigh Koopowitz should be fragrant

LOL I want Julies database too. I split another member's miltonia only to find that it was inbreeding of two speices over and over again in a century.http://www.rv-orchidworks.com/orchid...onditions.html

Good, good, smelling nice is bonus. Pink, cute and fuzzy is how I like them. No hope for me, I know

Although I couldn't resist a pretty cheap callosum 'Jack' which is currently on its way to me. Very dark but I'm not convinced it was actually labelled correctly.

Really? Thanks, I'll do a search.... if I'm not too traumatised after reading all about the naked cycling.

I have insign, bellatulum, niveum, druryi. I cna tell that they are not fragrant.
Fren did tell you the paph species that are fragrant. Most of the time, their hybrids are also fragrant.
