    Default My Grow Areas

Thought I'd post this and maybe encourage those that don't grow in GHs. Even though you grow inside on windowsills and under lights it still can be done successfully. I think it takes a little longer to bloom out and it's more difficult to regulate the humidity, but it's doable. Not much in bloom now, but several in bud.
This first one is in an East window and receives only morning sun. The bottom shelf has supplemental lighting

This second pic is just a few in bloom, out of the sun and away from the grow lights

This third one is in a North window with grow lights and surprising enough the plants do well there. I've had several bloom there for me.

The last is in a south window. At the time I took this pic the sun had not reached it yet. But it does receive full sun most of the day. And there are also grow lights to extend the day length. I also keep the humidity in this room around 60%, it's fairly easy to do because the room is small and there is a door to close. In the rooms where the rest of the pictures were taken it is more difficult to regulate the humidity because those areas are open to the rest of the house and much bigger. Hope this encourages some of you window sill growers. If I can do it anyone can do it

Nice displays! I love having the jungle indoors, but they like the humidity outside better. You have a nice assortment there.

It's beautiful ischel, and so organized too.
How does the dog deal with them? Does he leave them alone or do they get attention from him too?

are actually pretty good with the chids. When I first introduced them, they wanted to eat the bark, but they've pretty much backed off that, at least for now. Thanks foe asking.
