    Default Need Help With Name

I bought this beauty this weekend at the Fort Worth Orchid Society Show and lost the tag it came with.
I just picked the Cattleyas area to start with. Many thanks for anyone who can tell me it's name and type.
    Many thanks

Can't tell you you a specific name...but I can start by telling that it's not a cattleya, it's a nobile-type (or soft cane) dendrobium. Funny how nobile dendrobium flowers are sometimes cattleya-like, however.

Yes, a dendrobium. I moved the thread to the orchid culture section so that someone might see it to offer an identification.

    Cheers,

It is difficult to do an ID but Dend Yellow Song is a possibility.

    Buzz,

I think Ron is right on. I remember seeing these plants at the Ft. Worth show.

Dend Yellow Song has been popular at shows these last couple of years.
