That is beautiful. I like the yellow shades on that flower.
I have the exact same plant (even same award) but the flowers were white, with green shades instead of yellow. The patterns are all identical - even the stripe along the petals. Just different colors.
I wonder if it was due to lack of light or I happen to have an alba variation.
The color form that you have is actually what I was expecting from my plant.
This is what I had.
Mine is in very bright light. On my monitor, the sepals are an olive green, which is close to my plant's true color.

That is wonderful Ron.
Most of the ones I have seen are more like yours in coloration, John. Almost got one of these as they are one of the few green flowers that I actually like a lot. But I know that the blooms tend to be rather short lived so I have resisted.
Once mine blooms, I then move it into shade. It is short lived compared to many Catts but I get at least 3 weeks out of a flower.
Very nice, Ron...I like the shape of your blooms much better than what mine produced this year!
Gosh, that is wonderful!! NIce!
Cheers,
BD
I love that frilly lip. I beleive it's called FLOOF around these parts, no.
