    Default Mtssa Shelob 'Red Spider'

    Here is another of my problem plants...problem because I've had so much trouble getting to stay alive....and to my surprise a flower spike! Not sure why "Red Spider", since there isn't anything red about it!

    I'm guessing they call it red spider because when the flowers dry up and fall off they look like huge spiders on the floor. Which is why I do not own one; I'd end up breaking a hip backing away from the big spiders on the floor.

    I just bought this plant last week and i can't wait to see it bloom... why have you been having so much trouble keeping it alive??

    Piano, Don't know but I've knocked off at least 2 or 3 of these guys in the past year and this flowering is the 1st for me and I've had the plant for almost 2yrs.

    Al, you have such confidence in me....maybe you should see someone about that problem!
