    Default Bamboo orchid medium

I just acquired an Arundina bambusifolia. The vendor had it in sphagnum moss, but the attached instructions say to put in in potting soil. What do you grow yours in?

They are, indeed, terrestrial orchids. Plant in a good quality potting mix, such as Super Soil (I grow my cymbidiums in that). Be sure not to over water. Let drain after each watering, then don't water again until the soil is dry down at least an inch.

Sounds good to me. If you are one to water on the heavy side, you could always mix in a little sponge rock /perlite to keep the soil from becoming too compact.

Best of luck. I look forward to seeing your blooms.
