I saw many orchid photo and I still wonder how the owner can do that. I can be from their devices or photo soft ware ... I still don't know.
Hope that some one can share their experiences here.
From my self I just shoot photo, resize and adjust abit of contrast and .... post. I saw some people using photoshop and it make a big different (for scenery but not flower) but I don't have time to study that one yet.

I have a lot to learn taking pictures. We had a discussion about adjusting something (oh gosh, I am getting old and don't remember what it was!) that made for the dark backgrounds and focus on the flowers. My inexpensive digital camera doesn't have that adjustment available though. I can adjust the ISO - can I use that somehow to remove busy backgrounds... like my whole somewhat cluttered house? hehe

I have a wonderful BLC blooming right now and I want gorgeous pictures to post!!

Carol, ISO is a stabilizing feature that allows you to reduce blur caused by movement or shaking. Especially helpful at close range and moving subjects.
What kind of digital camera do you have?
