Sure. I have faith in your ability to nurse it back from the brink. I have seen much worse survive. Good luck! My vote is YES.

Here's a phal that started out as just a pile of roots.
It is attempting to grow a new crown but the prospects are not looking so good.
What does everyone think? Will it make it? Will it fizzle out?
It is growing on the same shelf indoors as the rest of the phals:

I said "NO" simply because if I had a phal that looked like that, I would trash it
With some TLC..it might just live.
I'm not doubting your considerable horticultural skills, only the plants ability to survive. So I'd have to vote 'NO' Sorry.
I voted no , looks like there is something going on with the tip on the photo it looks brownish to me . Like Clint, I would send it to orchid heaven .. Gin
I'm voting yes!!! I love taking plants that are on the brink of death and trying to bring them back. Its so rewarding!! There is nothing I love better than a good horticultural challenge - and this is definitely it!! I'd say give it some more light, fertilize it, and watch what happens!! Please, if you decide to trash it, send it to me - I will pay for the shipping!!~B
P.S - Yay for the S&H!!!! WOO!

I agree. If you got space to nurse them back to life why wouldn't you try until it's completely dead dead dead, and even then try some more.
In YOUR care, yes! Not necessarily mine!
IF it were mine, it would go to the compost bag. For you - hey, why not give it a try.
I'm a fan of nursing plants back to health also... so I would say "yes", give it a try! Good luck!
