It is very cute. I don't know the species name though.

I wonder what species this air plant is. Small little guy with no roots, the ones you see in glued to magnetic sculptures in stores. It was growing on the gravel of my bonsai/penjing arrangement and it bloomed once I moved it from underlights on my desktop to my south windowsill (so I can fit in this computer).
And the bonsai I'm working on: Ficus microcarpa styled as ginseng roots (ok not real bonsai), Schefflera styled as root over rock, and Chinese elm styled in Bunjin
It is very cute. I don't know the species name though.

Pretty , it looks like Tillandsia ionantha ... It is a clumper I have mine mounted with some small Orchids started with one clump now has 5 or 6 .. Gin
Thanks Gin for name and info
I love the vibrant blue, it was quite a suprise too. Fills in the blue colours that are so hard to get in orchids
I just read Tillandsia ionantha blooms in the fall...I guess the plant mixed up fall and spring
