I'm not usually a fan of foliage pics but I *had* to post pictures of what a healthy paph root system looks like. Thanks again to Louis for an excellent packing job and an outstanding paph!
The first pic shows a large mass of roots (for reference, the pot is 6" round). The older roots in the interior are dark brown in color, but a gentle pinch tells you that they are viable (if they're hollow, they need to be pulled off). Newer roots are a lighter brown and usually are found in the exterior of the root mass.
