Well Done Bruce! Very informative article
I have been thinking of getting compots or flasks for some time now, but I end up worrying about what to do with several dozen identical orchids when they mature.
I can only trade so much lol.
BTW, that hi-yield Malathion jug looks scary in the background hehehe.
Thanks, John.
Yes, I had a problem with some scale and had to pull out the big guns. That jug costs upwards of 50 bucks. Crazy.
I got this compot at my orchid society auction. I hope the blooms have a lemon fragrance! I figured if they live, I can always trade some and maybe post some up for auction on Orchid-bids. I was really pleased how many roots these guys have. I hope that means that they will do well.
Thanks for taking a look at the article and for commenting on it.
Cheers,

Great article and photos Bruce! Sure wish I had that nice a space to work in! I am always trashing my kitchen for projects like that. Hope they do great!
Thanks, Jenny!

Very nicely done, with great pictures. I am going to come back to this when I need to repot my babies.
Great article Bruce. I can only wish to have compots that need to be repotted
You can do it Richard! Take a chance. When they are out and growing, then you have orchids to trade and share. Thanks for taking a look at the article.
