    Default slipper orchids

    there are many species of slipper orchids in borneo. There are also necklace orchids or also known as Coelogyne .really beautiful.will post some pictures later

    Paph sanderianum thrives in half the normal light for most Paphs. In normal Paph lighting its growth will slow considerably. And don't forget the calcium it wants to simulate those limestone cliffs. Pulverized egg shells are a good source.

    The species was exceedingly hard to germinate for professional growers until recent years. I suspect we still don't have many hardy seedlings out there, which is why we see more hybrids than mature species plants.

    Well, it is not that difficult, this species from lowland { Mulu region, Sarawak}, you still can grow them. I prefer to use clay pod with charcoal and leaves litter + regular spray with calcium and moist at the roots level usually will give a good results. Zain.
