    Question Dtps with curled leaf

I just received a Doritaenopsis Chain Xen Diamond 'Celebration' and one of the leaves is curled up. Anyone know why this might happen and is it worth it to try to "train" it back into place. Thanks.

The leaf looks really healthy. I wouldn't mess with it. I think it gives the plant character!

It is fine. No worries, Pedro. It may have been growing next to something that forced its leaf to curl like that. I would not worry with it. It will be fine. The plant looks very healthy.

    Cheers,

The leaf looks healthy. If it bothers you though--you can train it by tucking it VERY loosely next to something -- perhaps a neighboring pot. I would do it fairly gradually and make sure that the light is coming from the direction you want the leaf to end up. I have done it a couple of times with success and it usually doesn't take long before the leaf will lay like you want it to. Just be REALLY gentle--never force it or the leaf will break.
