Well, now that I've got your attention...
I'm currently preparing a program on S/H for next months OS meeting. I imagine that few people in my OS have ever heard of S/H, so I'm planning on introducing everyone to S/H, the theory and mechanics of it, a how-to section, and then go into my experiences and other peoples also.
I was hoping that some of you on here who have more experience with it than me would be willing to share some of your experiences with me. You know, the type of plants you grow in it, how long you've been S/Hing, etc... I actually have a questionnaire already made up for those of you who want to participate. Just pm me w/ your e-mail address and I will email you my questions.
Thanks to all!!
p.s. If anyone has any ideas of things that maybe I should include in my presentation, feel free to make any suggestions.

Here are two cattleyas of the same age, repotted at the same time into differant medium. One went into S/H and shows good root growth after a month. The second went into coarse bark on the same day as the previous plant was repotted. The bark Catt shows some root growth, but not as much as the S/H catt.
Becky grows most, if not all of her orchids in S/H. She would be someone good to ask about this.
Cheers,
BD
