Default A side trip with pics

Did a few college tours with my son...Thurs...UB followed by a tradition Buffalo lunch, Texas Red Hots with the works.Afterwards a side trip to Niagara Falls. This was unplanned, didn't grab passports so we stayed on the American side.

Here is a view of the American Falls with the Horseshoe Falls in the background. Canada is on the right hand shore

You can see the decking right next to the falls...very cool, in more than one aspect.

Also took the Maid of the Mist boat past the American Falls and to the base of the Horseshoe Falls

The following day toured SUNY Geneseo and then onto Darien Lake to ride more coasters.

    Welcome to Darien Lake!

Thanks for sharing, it's one of my favorite places to go. Did you have any of that wonderful Niagra Ice Wine they make up there?

It was a beautiful day for it...sunny and in the high 80's
I didn't wear a rain poncho and look like a wet rat by the time the day was over

Great pictures Ron, I have never been to the Niagara Falls, this makes me want to go there. Very nice to see your family too! (don't you have 3 children though?)
Oh and you don't look like a "wet rat" on those pictures!
