Cool Is there a 12 step program for compulsive orchid buying?

Last night I was feeling a little down, so what did I do?
I went online and spent $200.00 I can ill afford on orchids, mostly mini phals. I was going to just get one to replace the mini phal I got last year and is unfortunately dying a slow death. But then I got high on the sheer number of possibilities, and before you know it, I was putting a mini brassavola and something called a "strawberry cupcake" oncidium in my virtual cart.

    Somebody help me!
(I'm sure it's a common addiction among board members!)

    BD

I did join my local chapter of OA (Orchids Anonymous) I failed miserably. I suspect I added between 50 and 75 new orchids to my collection in 2008. Did you say this is only the 1st of September and 2008 is not over yet...thought you did...it is a good thing that I did not attend any shows this year as of yet. I would like to make one fall show though...I wonder if my favorite California vendor will be there??? Doesn't really matter...I have his # on speed dial, LOL.

Who's got a problem?? Only problem here is NOT ENOUGH SHELVES! muhahaha Actually, if there was a program to cure this, my husband would pay to send me I think! Ah well, he stood outside admiring them last night and crowing about how well "his" roots are growing. He took over the watering of several while I was recently off my feet and now the ones I still let him water he refers to as "his". So look out, warn your friends and family; this is not only an addiction, it's like the flu and is very contagious. (just ask my family and friends....and now my husband)
