    Default Phragmipedium Sedenii x wallisii

I have only a few Phrags, but this one is truly named.
Phrag. Sedenii x wallisii. Sedenii = longifolium x schlimii

very nice cross! PRETTY! I suspect it is Sedenii (longifolium x schlimii) and not the cross that you listed.

very nice, but that flower has no wallisii in it. could be straight Sedenii though.

Thanks both for your reactions and I will go back to the society-member who gave me this plant because, according to his info, he crossed the wallisii into it. I love Paphs and Phrags, but are very strict on names as well.

or pollinated when he removed the anther cap.
One would expect much longer petals from a cross with wallisii, much like a Schroederae (Sedenii x caudatum)

Thanks to everybody for your info. I spoke yesterday to the man who sold me the plant and he told me now that he had not crossed the plant himself but had the info received from his supplier.
Lets forget all about that and I will stick to P. Sedenii as most likely.
