Mini Phal

Something I saved from being drowned to death at the local garden center. I guess the only reason I even go to this center is to save chids from their neglectful keepers. I've even offered to volunteer but they're not interested..... I know this flower is rather common among pink-veined phals, but it was soooo cute and drowning. The plant is only about 5" tip to tip and the flower about 2".

Wow! I wish they had mini phals at my garden center! I just sent away for some in bud and it cost A LOT! But anything for orchids...it is sad when you see them dying at garden centers and big box stores because no one cares enough not to overwater them.

Look at those bold stripes and that bright color. Very nice save!!
