    Default Epidendrum

Another species in need of a name. I will assume that this is an Epidendrum but may not be. I collected this in the high Jungle of Peru. It blooms this time of the year, terminally on newly matured growths. The flowers are tiny with the spike being about 5 cm.

Any help or direction with ID would be greatly appreciated. I am going to send a link of this thread to a friend in Peru to see if he may be familiar with it.

It looks like it is growing very well. I looked in OrchidWiz and found three possibilities for you to consider: Could it be Epidendrum armeniacum or Epidendrum ferrugineum or Epidendrum purum? Good luck.

    Cheers,
