Okay, I went crazy again this morning and decided I will go orchid shopping. I went to 2 local nurseries. I got this huge unknown Catt. in a 6 1/2" pot for $15 and a Den. Kinglianum in a 5" pot for $20 but the owner who was so nice and helpful let me have both for $30. The Kinglianum has at least 50 canes not including the keikis and the old ones. He has a lot of cymbidiums also.
The Neo Falcata was from a different nursery.
It's going to be a busy weekend as I need to re-pot all of them. But I'm happy
Thanks for looking,
Marissa
Nice haul!

Nice healthy looking plants
Okay, after cleaning and cutting off the dead roots on the Neo, found out that I have more than what I needed. The whole thing was so big and would not fit in the little Japanese pot so I had to break it apart and find another pot and still have few more left. Now I have to figure out if I should mount them on a grapewood or in an upside down clay pot.
Maybe a basket would look nice. We grow ours in a wooden vanda basket with lava rock as the potting medium.

I don't have any Vanda basket or lava rock available, not even sure where to find it. I don't believe the stores that I go to carries lava rock. Anyway, I decided i'll just stick them in this grapewood, and use this red ribbon to hold them in place. I was able to re-pot the big guy too. Poor thing, the old medium was so broken down. I see 3 sheaths, and hopefully they don't blast.
The Den. Kinglianum has to wait until next week.
Very nice new Orchids Great job also mounting the neos!
The mount looks good! I bet it will be something when in bloom too! Looking forward to it!
