It is instant. Check your spam filter. I just checked and do not have any bounced messages.

How long does it generally take after signing up to receive the email with the link?
Thanks!

Apparently, my spam blocker deleted it. I have gone in and changed the settings. Can you resend mine, please?
I will do so now. 7:50 am - CST.

I still haven't received it. Checked the spam folder also. :-(
Is there any kind of address I can send you my work email address to so we can try that. I am anxious to be fully registered! :-)
Yes. You can email here: Contact Us. The only way you will get the email is if you allow it through your spam filter. I double checked and it is not being bounced back to us. It is going to the email address you provided during registration.

FYI: It took about 6 hours to receive an email with activation ID. My email is on Yahoo and it went to a spam folder. So, it may not be instant.
Hi Sofia,
Yes, we have had trouble with Yahoo mail addresses since they had the huge security issue where Sarah Palin email was hacked. They now seem to require domain keys to approve messages, but even with a valid key many messages are sent to spam folders. We have started using a domain key this week. hopefully, this will hekp.
If you or anyone else reading this who has a Yahoo email address would click on any email from OrchidTalk and mark it "NOT SPAM", it would help. At one point I thought we were going to have to stop allowing registrations with yahoo email addresses, but it seems to be working better lately.
Thanks for letting me know about your issue.
Cheers,
BD
Thanks! Actually, it was not an issue. It is just information to others.
