Ron's carbonara

Fry bacon until crisp in a large fry pan
while bacon is cooking put the pasta on to boil
drain bacon grease leaving bacon in pan and replace grease with olive oil
when olive oil is hot add garlic and pepper flakes and brown garlic
drain pasta and place into a bowl. Immediately toss hot oil with garlic and bacon into the pasta
crack the 2 eggs into the hot pasta and toss well (the eggs will partially cook on the hot pasta)
Toss in grated cheese and parsley
season to taste with black pepper and serve

Sounds great. I love my food spicy!! Yum. I always am on the lookout for something new and easy for dinner. Seems like I make the same things all the time.

Bruce.. frying the pepper flakes with the garlic, spices the olive oil and distributes the flavor throughout the dish.

Pasta dishes are quick, easy and delicious. I have created many over the years. I will have to post my pasta with broccoli sauce. Most of the ones I have created are olive oil based.
