I made it to the Florida West Coast Orchid Society's Orchid Show and Sale this afternoon. I took over 140 pictures and after editing the blurry and dark ones out, I've still got over 100 amazing ones... This will be one long post. For those of you who have yet to attend an orchid show, you really should make the time someday. It is an amazingly fun way to spend an afternoon. Even if you don't intend to shop (hahaha) they are excellant photo opportunities. I hope you will enjoy the posts.....give me awhile to finish as I'll be doing it the old, 4 pictures at a time, way. And before anyone asks, all I brought home was 2 bareroot nobile dendrobium sections. It was tough not going hog wild in there. For the plants I remembered that do not have name tags, I'll add the names above the picture.
Bulb. Doris Dukes

First the plant, then the flower....I didn't see a name, sorry. It was just covered with flower spikes and tiny little flowers.

Again a set of two pics for rare plants....this is a Davidhuntara Houston Honey (Chaubardia heteroclita x Pescoranthes star sapphire)
I didn't catch the name of this one, but the flowers are very unique hanging from a pendulous spike.
