Default My new light set up!

Hey all, I am super excicted about my new two-level light set-up. I have fit about 50 of my smaller orchids under the lights. In the last pic you can see our dog who sleeps on the bed by the window and doesn't seem to mind me putting all these plants in "her"bedroom!

Looking good! Your orchids have a terrific set-up, your dog has her own bedroom ... hmmm ... your house seems like a great place to live in!

    Very nice!!!!!
I especially like the natural color rendition of the light and the way the orchids are neat and organized.

    Nice.

I think the dog actually likes the plants. For some reason, when both of my cats were living, they loved being next to the plants in my bay window. I was lucky enough that they both were not destructive at all. I actually found them smelling the blooms a few times.

Maisy, our doggy is such a good sport- that room tends to accumulate lots of stuff in it. As long as she has room to sit on the bed, she likes to look out the window and bark at the doggy across the street if she is out in her yard.

Great setup Meg. I guess others got to the "does the dog attack your orchids or vice versa" already.

What's the general consensus, would cats or dogs be better with our orchid babies?

Clint, I'm not sure that they were smelling them. I think you caught them red-handed, and just in time.

I would say cats...but then again I'm a cat person. Cats don't seems as "rowdy" to me....you know..the wagging tails and knocking things over.
