    Default Blc Rich Robin

Found this opening this morning....brightens an otherwise gloomy, cold, snowy day here in Michigan....

Dude....that flower must be like an oasis of color in that drab cold fall northern weather. I used to be a Flintoid....actually I grew up in Grand Blanc (aka the big nothing), but I don't usually admit to it. lol I know what it looks like up there this time of year. Once the brilliant colors fall off the trees it turns into a very grey place. And the beauty of the snow ends when you try to drive on it. lol I envy you your greenhouse....it must be wonderful to go in there and see the green during the grey months. And great growing too....that Floofy is a beauty!!

No fragrance, yet....we'll see. Connie, the way you talk about your homeland... you should be ashamed!!!!! And on the board for all to see....how could you... Sad but true the color has gone, the skies are grey, the snow dirty already....what doom and gloom! You are the fortuneate one to have pretty nice weather year round...you're the one who made the right move, but we've had this talk before.....I'd gladly trade my GH for a Florida shadehouse!

Glad you have so many orchids to push away all that gloom and grayness. Just a trip into your greenhouse should be a great fix for each day! You have some beautiful blooms! Congratulations!

    Cheers,

I think there's a typo on your nametag..I thought BLC first time I saw it...am I wrong? Is there a CLC in the cattleya alliance?

Wow, great description, Connie! That lip is a stunner. With the 'less bright' petals and sepals it JUMPS at you. Love it!

Is there a CLC in the cattleya alliance?
And I have the same question, what is "CLC"?
