    Default Onc Blooms Vs. Phal Blooms ;-)

    Here are the Pics of the newly bought phal and onc. which were in spike...hope you all like the blooms. Any suggestions to the names of them, would really like to find out ....

    We all love our "noid" types...the phal is just so pretty.....the oncid I'm guessing is a "space race", but again with both of those I've seen them look just like that and have any number of names. Obviously you bought these because they are so pretty, tag or not. With this sort of situation, I usually give them nicknames. What's funny is that most of my Noid types like to thrive while the ones with tags die faster....

    I like the dark red of Oncidium too.
    I have Space Race 'Coco', the bloom looks different from yours, and is smaller than yours too.

    The blooms of the phal smells really nice, they have a soft powery smell to them.....I like I like

    The oncidium looks like many of the Odonticidum Wildcat crosses that are so popular.
