This IS fun and keeps my mind off of the stress of having lost my job (yes, I was one of the 550,000 people laid off in Nov 08).

I got a new camera for christmas so I'm taking lots of pics to learn how to use it. I actually have adult orchids as well.....I'll post some pics of them over in another thread.

Good work with flasking! they look so cool!

I just flasked my own phrag cross yesterday. I think I possibly bleached too much but hopefully I get a couple plants. I hope I don't get contamination!

Thanks Smartie and good luck with your seeds. I thought I had over-bleached too.....I was a little obsessed with preventing contamination (you have to be) and thought for sure I had killed EVERYTHING.

Prepare to become obsessed with watching those little puppies......I keep a flashlight and magnifying glass nearby!

Is that light just for taking the picture or is that the lighting that's on the flask throughout the day? Looks like they are hungry!!!

That is my high-tech lighting platform. LOL. The jars are sitting on top of a flashlight which makes the protocorm easier to see.

    They are hungry...and crowded!!!!
