    Default Miltoniopsis, Lost name stick

Darnit! I lost the name stick for this one. I really should write these things down. It does smell amazing and the color is so soft. i just love it.

I really need to learn to use my camera because you can't appreciate the pale butter yellow. This is all I have in bloom right now.

I began printing out pictures and acquired a three ring hole punch so I could keep them in a three ring binder. It helps to take one picture of the plant and one of the flower and staple them together. It doesn't have to be pretty, but it helps alot when this happens.

Very pretty! I would love to be able to grow more Milts, but they need cooler temps than I can easily give to them.

And I agree with Connie. I am now keeping records each time I photo an orchid in bloom. I name the folder with the orchid name and put all of the photos of that one inside. Then I place that folder in the correct year and month folder on my computer. It helps. Also, I have found myself going to this site and searching my own posts for orchid names and photos. It is a nice way to keep track of them.

    Cheers,
    BD

Try keeping an Excel record with fotos. This Milt is fabulous. The color is so soft and yet vibrant with the red center. Is it a difficult to grow? What temp do you keep it at?

I do have Excel so maybe this is the time to learn how to use it, eh? Haha.
It is gorgeous in person and the fragrance scents the whole apartment.
I have no idea what the temp is but the room is very cool. I have it on an east windowsill. I got it at an orchid show here last winter and it is coming up again so I am very excited. If there was ever a time I need a new orchid it is in the middle of a western NY winter!!
