    Lightbulb How to Photograph Orchids

I was just reading Nelson's thread about the Cannon and the Olympus Cameras and started searching around the net. I found a really neat website that shows people how to photograph plants. (His site uses bonsai trees, but I thought it would work for orchids too. ) He does some of the same things I do when taking 'glamor' shots of my orchids. Lately, I have been lazy and have only used my point and shoot powershot camera in the Green house. This might help anyone else wanting to take better photos of your orchids or other plants. Anyway, give the site a look-see and let me know if it helps.

    Cheers,
    BD

Whoa! I just did a quick read of the first page and I'm already learning a lot about light compensation with various backdrops. Good find Bruce, and thanks for itching to look for more photographic advice!

I've been drooling after a digital SLR because as much as I love my point-and-shoot, I simply can't control all the camera's behavior as I'd like. I'm hoping this site will provide some nuggets to ease my struggles.

I don't have time now to dig into the site, but I'm looking forward to it!
