This is my favorite dendrobium that I own, but I don't know it's name. I bought it 3-4 years ago, and it has bloomed 3 times for me since. It is semi-deciduous and blooms on canes that still have their leaves.
The flowers are buttery yellow and pretty thick and substantial. After they have been open for a week or two they become fragrant on warm days. The flowers last for about 4 weeks I guess.
Only 4 flowers this year, I don't think I left it out to chill quite enough. OOp! But last year it bloomed on 3 canes and was really stunning.
It is pretty, Meg.

That's magnificent. If you hadn't stated otherwise I would of thought that it was a catt, just from the flower. Wonderful lip and color. Thanks for sharing.
What a pretty color of yellow....very nice den!
