Hi forum,
This noid dend has been in a glass enclosure for several months, and I've slowed down the watering for winter, but today I just noticed a new cane starting! I am thrilled, but surprized. I did recently increase the light from 10 to 12 hours a day, but I wasn't expecting any new growth until spring.
Should I start fertilizing and increase the watering to feed the new little shoot, or can I just wait a few months and let it stay dormant until spring?
Here's a closeup of the shoot
Thanks

good luck,
It i obviously happy, but the really dark green color suggests that it needs more light. Slowly increase the light levels and before long you will be posting bloom shots!
Cheers,
BD
I agree with the above. Don't increase watering until later in the spring, it will be fine. Do give more light also-should be lighter green.
