    I'm glad this was posted, I had just noticed my 30-10-10 had urea as well. And the cymbid part...that too...good info. Sometimes the food thing makes me crazy...and the watering thing...lol It's always good to see the info one more time to see if it will stick in my head this time!

    I'm a Jonny come lately, but Ron, "Horse Manure"!!! That's just for us farm boys who tended milk cows and swung from the barn ropes more years ago than I care to recall just now. Back to the thread.... the Better Gro product is urea free and is 20~14~13

    Buzz, I echo John's comments about urea supposedly being hard for epiphytes to take up. Key word is "supposedly". There are many growers who use it very successfully. However, I'd disagree with it being especially bad for Cymbidiums. They're not an epiphyte--if any orchid should be OK with urea based nitrogen, they ought to be.
