    Default No Permission Error on Login to Home Page

    Hi Folks,

    I was busy doing an update last night and I missed one setting. This caused over 200 people to be blocked. Thanks to everyone who emailed and sent private messages to me to let me know. I am so sorry about that. It is corrected now and everyone should have access to the OrchidTalk Lobby Home Page again.

    Thanks for this info and I probably should also be using PM, but I'm here and so, still have a problem getting to lobby using IE but things work just fine with Firefox.... any ideas?

    The problem on my side of the software was that I did not give the main usergroup permission to see the home page. If you can see it in Fire Fox but not IE, then it is an internet explorer setting. When I get home from work tonight, I will get on my computer that has IE and figure out what setting you should change.

    Bruce, You might want to let all us IE users know the solution. I didn't get the lobby page either, but it did go to new posts just fine.

    Stephen pointed out another problem: Many people could see the home page (permission wise), but could not see all the different things that make up the page. I have now corrected that issue. If anyone is having trouble seeing the home page (lobby page), please post here or PM me. Thanks for your patience.

    Try again, Cindi. I think it should work now if it was the permission error. If you can see it in one browser, but not another, then it is a browser setting.

    I will post the IE answer tonight for everyone too. Just don't have that here at work.
